Sabrina Lindhout is a lecturer of dance in the BW Conservatory of Performing Arts.
Lindhout has been dancing professionally for over eight years, with training from Joffrey Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, BalletMet Columbus and Ohio Contemporary Ballet (formerly Verb Ballets).
She teaches classical ballet and Erick Hawkins-release modern technique at Baldwin Wallace and other dance studios in the Cleveland area. She also runs a pre-professional performance division for students ages 13 and older at The Dance Centre in Rocky River, Ohio.
Most recently, she danced as a company member with Inlet Dance Theatre, a modern dance company in Cleveland. Aligning with Inlet's mission of "using dance to further people," Lindhout taught dance classes throughout the Cleveland Municipal School District for ages five to 18. Working alongside community development organizations and partnering with MetroHealth Hospitals' SAFE (Students Are Free to Express) program, she used the arts to bring trauma-informed education to high school students in Northeast Ohio.
Lindhout also had the opportunity to nationally tour Inlet Dance Theatre's extensive repertoire, including their storybook dance debut commissioned by Playhouse Square of The New York Times bestseller "What Do You Do With An Idea?" written by Kobi Yamada. Inlet is also the North American talent for the Australian theatre company Polyglot Theatre for their shows across North America, bringing educational children's theatre to countless festivals and free community events.
